About FamilyLife NZ
FamilyLife is a ministry of Tandem ministries, an inter-denominational Christian organisation.
FamilyLife New Zealand was founded in 1991. Since then God has raised up a committed team of workers from all walks of life and with a wide range of skills.
We have three full-time staff couples, and many regional representatives in most main centres who look after organising FamilyLife events in their areas.
We are committed to building strong marriages and families throughout New Zealand and Oceania, based on proven, timeless principles. We have four aims:
- To change our nation through weekend Conferences — first class presentations, to professional standard, at superb locations.
- To change your community through One Day Seminars — top quality speakers, anywhere in New Zealand.
- To change your neighbours with HomeBuilders — easy to use small group studies to run in your home.
- To change you through Resources — a comprehensive range of books and audio based around the topics of marriage, parenting and family issues.
We exist to:
To Glorify God... We exist to reflect God – His character and attributes – in all that we are and all that we do. (1 Peter 4:11)
Make Christ known… We exist to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ultimate purpose in life is found only in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life lived in submission to Him. The application of biblical principles apart from salvation is ultimately hopeless. (Matthew 28:18-20)
