Community Participation Vocational activities focus on offering opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to participate in their Community. Normally, activities are structured to assist in skill development. They can involve lots of different activities or areas in peoples lives, from work related to leisure, sports, getting “out and about” and making friends. There a number of different services available in Horowhenua providing stimulation, activities and social interaction opportunities for people with disabilities. They are listed below.

NZCare Group Ltd Provides vocational services in Levin for people who have a disability. Focuses on providing community participation services to people who require a high level of support.
